About Me: Production designer and art director this spanish woman, based in London, reaches to every work a complete concept where the colours, the textures and the second readings make them something really creative.
With studies in Fine Arts and Production Design, her carier started five years ago in Madrid in Artefacto, a company that worked in the art department for the Guillermo del Toro´s Oscar winning film “Pan's Labrynth”. In the last three years Miren Marañón has developed her work in countries with cultures as inspirationals as the Italian –she worked in FABRICA, Benetton's research and communication center-, or the Japanesse –she participate in the pre-production of the film “Onimusha”.
Back in october 2008 to Europe she has worked in London in different artistic and audiovisual projects: As production designer in the film, "First Days Of Spring" by Tomboy Films and Parkville Pictures; or in the short, “Thomas” directed by the nominated for the BAFTA award for Best Short Film "Ralph" 2009 Alex Winckler. As art director she has participated in Music Videos like Emiliana Torrini’s "Jungle Drum" by RSA or " Cebin" TV advert by Grey agency.
